The Federation of Muslim Organisations is delighted to learn that Her Majesty the Queen has recognised Yusuf Saleh with a well-deserved MBE.
Suleman Nagdi, spokesperson from the federation said, “Yusuf’s work both in the Public and Voluntary service is known widely. Yusuf’s contribution to CKI School of Martial Arts has had an internationally stage bringing pride to our nation. This is a significant award in recognising the importance of working with young people, harnessing the energy of our youth and channelling them in positive way.
I firmly believe that the Muslim community has a great deal to contribute to the diverse society of Britain, this award will reflect positively within the Muslim and wider community and I hope it encourages others to join hands with the community to maintain and to develop the positive elements in our diverse society.”
