What we do?

We work closely as a team in indentifying projects or other services that can help the

Muslim Sisters of Leicestershire. We take on board any suggestions and if we feel they are viable enough and beneficial to the community we will arrange workshops or an event in collaboration with external and appropriate agencies to encourage and educate the public.  We have in the past organised an event around ‘safeguarding the environment.’ ‘Health issues and have raised much needed money for local charities such as cancer charities.

We are often consulted for advice with personal issues, or requests to start a group such as the coffee morning majlis to bring together sisters from all communities of varying ages.  We’ve arrange events in ‘caring for the Environment’ and also ‘Health Events, both which proved very successful and well attended.’ Some recent ideas and initiatives for 2011 are outlined below.
