School Visit Helps Build Bridges

In partnership with our friends at the St Philip’s Centre, FMO PR Officer Suleman Nagdi was pleased to attend St Martin’s Catholic Voluntary Academy in Stoke Golding to talk and engage with pupils at the school. The visit was an excellent opportunity for the keen and enthusiastic pupils to find out more about Islam and over 350 students had the opportunity to ask questions on difficult issues they had heard of and wanted to know more about.

Speaking of the visit, Suleman commented, “The school visit is a continuation of our bridge building work between communities which we have been immersed in for many years now and which we hope to continue long into the future. I would like to take the opportunity to thank the St Philip’s Centre for helping facilitate the visit and the staff and pupils at St Martin’s for being such wonderful hosts.”
